- We will attend the Scholastic Book Fair during our library time on Wednesday from 1:10-1:40 p.m. If your child did not bring home a flyer about the book fair yet, they will today. Parents are welcome to attend during our scheduled time. Students may purchase books. If your child is not purchasing books, they will still check out library books, like usual, at that time.
- School pictures are on Friday! Please remember to send in your order form and payment, if you are ordering school pictures. Make sure your child looks his or her best on Friday! If you need a new order form, let me know. The forms and payment are due on Friday.
- Today your child should have brought home a small pink slip of paper that discusses Santa Shop. This slip of paper will help the Santa Shoppe Committee plan ahead for Santa Shoppe this year. Please have your child bring in this slip by Friday.
- Spelling Tic Tac Toes are due on Friday. The middle square has a typo. It says that students should write their words in cursive. Please do NOT have your child write their words in cursive. We aren't ready for that yet!
- Yankee candle fundraiser items were sent home last week. This fundraiser supports the Brownsburg Education Foundation, which provides grants for classroom teachers and scholarships for Brownsburg students. If your child is participating in the Yankee candle fundraiser, all orders are due back to school by October 11.
- This week I will do an update about each of our curricular areas....so stay tuned!
- Secret word tonight is whippersnapper! Oliver, the mouse, was a young whippersnapper! (Your child can tell you all about Oliver.)
