Our First Week

Our first week has been a success! I have learned a great deal about the students' personalities! Next week, we will begin Everyday Math, a class novel, and all other normal curricular areas! We will also start the school wide discipline plan, which you can read about here.

Next week, please discourage your child from bringing anything distracting to school, such as "squishies" or "Japanese erasers." These items have caused problems at school this week. Also next week, remember to start signing the assignment notebook each night.

Today your child learned how to login to something called Moodle. We will use Moodle frequently throughout the year. If your child tries to login to Moodle this weekend, please be aware that there are no new activities that are ready for your child to do. The Moodle program for our class is not entirely set up yet. It will be indicated in the assignment notebook if your child ever has work to do in Moodle.
