Field Trip Preparation

Tomorrow is our field trip! Please make sure to dress appropriately. I would like for students to wear their blue tie dyed class shirts. Depending on the temperature, students may want to wear a long sleeved tshirt under the tie dye shirt, or a sweatshirt over it. If it is cool in the morning, students may need jackets. We will spend a great deal of time outside at Conner Prairie. Sunglasses are certainly fine, but your child will have to be responsible for their own sunglasses! Please do not send your child with any money because we will not be visiting any of the gift shops.

It is very important that you remember to send your child with a sack lunch tomorrow. Please include a drink in the sack lunch. Lunches will not be refrigerated. Please do not send lunchboxes. Brown paper lunch sacks or plastic grocery bags are acceptable. Make sure your child's lunch is labeled with his or her name.

We will leave school by 9:15 a.m. and return by 2:30 p.m. at the very latest. On another note, please make sure that you have read the post below this about our music program which is approaching quickly! The secret word tonight is Lenape, which we will learn more about at Conner Prairie!
